Alexandra Petty

Alexandra Petty is a CODA (child of deaf adult) and when growing up she saw that accessibility for her mother was a huge problem. Watching technology develop and help improve her mother’s quality of life sparked her interest in the IT world. In 2016 she discovered the Microsoft HoloLens, Mixed Reality. When realizing its full potential and societal impact, she took a leap of faith and joined the startup Velicus.

She also co-organizes a local XR community to help spread awareness about this exciting, emerging technology.
