Ruth Lininger, M.D., MPH

A physician entrepreneur building an integrated health care ecosystem for better managing chronic disease, Dr. Ruth Lininger is Medical Director of Integrative Path PC, where she provides functional medicine care for clients with chronic disease under a tax advantaged private pay, Medicare compliant, membership. She is also founder of Duchess Health Inc., a platform that provides subscription services to self-funded employers who want to control health care costs and improve employee health. In addition to providing employers clinical care with the option for on-site clinics, together with Dr. Bens she provides next generation ROI driven wellness services (incorporating health coaching, education, laboratory and genetic testing, and nutrition), as well as custom benefits solutions. A Duke and UNC trained physician double boarded in pathology and integrative medicine, she also has a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from UNC-Chapel Hill, and a certificate in Leadership and Management from the Duke Fuqua Business School. Author of 31 peer reviewed research articles, 3 book chapters, and 15 abstracts, Dr. Lininger has been an invited lecturer to over 18 events. Her passion is advancing a scalable integrated health care model that improves the health of consumers and communities.
